NGC 6960 - Nebulae
Exposition: 14 X 600 sec = 2h 20min
Telescope: Skywatcher newton 254/1200, NEQ6Pro,
Camera: Orion starshoot Pro V2 CCD camera and Star shoot autoguider.
Date and Place: 20 July 2015, Janik, Slovakia
This is a beautiful Nebulae in the constellation of Cygnus. On the side of the image you can see that every star is like a comet. That is because of the optical correction mistake. By the imaging, the polar alignment was not well done, and the guiding was not the best so I recommend for every astrophotographer to not forget make sure that this step is successful before the imaging. I had some focusing problems but it was only my mistake.
Some words of Bible:
...God says: "Praise the Lord every star on the sky" Every beautyful thing shows us a little of Gods Heart, Goodness and His Kingdom.15
IC 1396 - Nebula
Date and place: 10th of June 2015 in Bela nad Cirochou
Telescope: Skywather Newton 254/1200
Mount: Upgraded NEQ6Pro
Exposition: 13 X 600 sec.
Camera: Orion Starshoot pro V2 Color (Binning 1x1) With Coma corrector, no filter
Guiding: 70/500 scope and Orion Starshoot autoguiding camera
Controlling Software: Maxim DL
Image process: Maxim DL and Photoshop
As you can see this image is not nice because of lot of mistakes:
1. The optics was not set well (Not collimated and the coma corrector was not seted at the right destination from CCD chip)
2. Not focused well.. My mistake
3. Not centered.. also my mistake
4. I forgot to create flat images so the image is not balanced.
5. I had some guiding problems. I think the polar alignment was not well done
But the place form where the image was taken is near the darkest sky of Slovakia called park Poloniny. So the image is note nice but I have a beautiful experience because of place, nature and friends.
Something from Holy Bible:
"Do not try to understand things that are too difficult for you, or try to discover what is beyond your powers.
Concentrate on what has been assigned you, you have no need to worry over mysteries."
